Once you have warmed up thoroughly attack the following circuit:
The goal is to perform as many push-ups as you can within a 20 minute time frame.
I use this as a physical challenge for my clients.
The male record is 620 push-ups while the female record is 500 push-ups. Remember I train some of the most conditioned athletes on the planet so don’t expect these type of results if you are not in your accustomed to this type of training.
- Begin with 20 push-ups.
- Then immediately perform 24 strides (12 per leg) of walking lunges.
- Next, drop and pump out 20 more push-ups.
- Now, walk, jog or run back to the starting point.
- Then repeat until 20 minutes have elapsed.
If you have not worked out for awhile then I start with only 4 minutes and add 2 minutes every week until you reach 20 minutes.
