Once you have warmed up thoroughly attack the following circuit:

The goal is to perform as many push-ups as you can within a 20 minute time frame.

I use this as a physical challenge for my clients.

The male record is 620 push-ups while the female record is 500 push-ups. Remember I train some of the most conditioned athletes on the planet so don’t expect these type of results if you are not in your accustomed to this type of training.

  1. Begin with 20 push-ups.
  2. Then immediately perform 24 strides (12 per leg) of walking lunges.
  3. Next, drop and pump out 20 more push-ups.
  4. Now, walk, jog or run back to the starting point.
  5. Then repeat until 20 minutes have elapsed.

If you have not worked out for awhile then I start with only 4 minutes and add 2 minutes every week until you reach 20 minutes.
