Triple Drops
I first added triple drops to my training regimen when I was 18 years of age. Up until this time I focused primarily on doing a single set until I could no longer budge it and then rested. Once recovered (60-180 seconds) I would have at it again and again until I completed the planned number of sets. This was an effective tactic yet I knew that if I grew comfortable with my training plan so would my body. Thus, I sought out another plan of attack.
TRIPLE DROPS
To perform this highly effective body chiseling technique choose any exercise:
Let’s use Dumbbell curls as an example.
Grab a set of Dumbbells that will become challenging at 10-12 reps.
Then immediately grab a lighter weight and hammer out 10-12 more.
Then once again choose yet an even lighter weight and get as many reps as possible
Whenever my clients are traveling or are crunched for time, I often incorporate a triple drop routine to get in as much work as possible in the least amount of time. I like to use FREE MOTION or other selectorized equipment. The main reason is the convenience of simply pulling a pin and changing the weight in a timely manner. Dumbbells are a great choice also.
