Moeten vrouwen het ook doen?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>Waarom is gewichtheffen zo belangrijk?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Als je alleen a\u00ebrobe oefeningen doet en een dieet volgt, zul je spieren verliezen. Simpel gezegd, als je het niet gebruikt - verlies je het. Spierweefsel moet worden uitgedaagd met weerstand om te worden gestimuleerd (ge\u00efrriteerd).<\/li>\n<li>Spieren versnellen je stofwisseling. Voor elk pond spieren op je lichaam verbrand je ongeveer 50 calorie\u00ebn per dag door alleen maar te zitten.<\/li>\n<li>Spieren zijn de plek waar vet wordt verbrand. Ieder van ons wordt geboren met een bepaald aantal vetcellen dat we altijd zullen hebben. De bepalende factor voor onze gezondheid en ons uiterlijk is echter of de vetcellen vol of leeg zijn. Om de inhoud van de vetcel vrij te geven, moet de vetcel in de spiercel worden getransporteerd, specifiek naar de mitochondri\u00ebn. Dit orgaan zal de afgifte van vetzuren in de bloedbaan stimuleren om als brandstof te worden gebruikt. Met andere woorden, spieren fungeren als de oven waar vet wordt verbrand in het menselijk lichaam. Als je spieren verliest, beschadig je je stofwisseling. Waarom? Nou, in mijn faciliteit gingen ze van rubber naar staal. Ik werd er letterlijk gek van als je bedenkt dat hun kinderen en zelfs hun handtas meer dan 15 kilo wogen!<\/p>\n<p>Als het gaat om gewichtheffen en spieren, zijn vrouwen meestal doodsbang dat ze eruit gaan zien als Arnold Schwarzenegger. Je hoeft je echter geen zorgen te maken. Vrouwen hebben 8-10 keer lagere androgeenspiegels dan mannen. Androgenen zijn hormonen die verantwoordelijk zijn voor de opbouw van spieren en worden vaak ge\u00efnjecteerd of oraal ingenomen door wedstrijdbodybuilders en powerlifters. Met zulke lage niveaus van deze hormonen vinden de meeste vrouwen het erg moeilijk om een significante hoeveelheid spieren toe te voegen. In plaats van aan te sterken, zal weerstandstraining je lichaam beitelen, versterken en verstevigen. Zonder weerstandstraining krijg je een zacht, slap en slap lichaam.
