Ik ben mijn hele leven atleet geweest, dus ik heb nooit een dieet gevolgd.  Ik voedde mijn lichaam altijd voor topprestaties.  Ik heb mezelf nooit uitgehongerd door koolhydraten of vetten of eiwitten of wat dan ook te schrappen.<\/p>\n<p>Onnodig te zeggen dat ik geen idee had waar mijn klanten het over hadden, dus ik had mijn handen vol.<\/p>\n<p>Ik ging meteen naar de plaatselijke \"Borders\" boekwinkel en kocht elk dieetboek dat ik kon vinden.  Na een paar maanden had ik 68 verschillende dieetboeken gelezen.   Je zou denken dat ik na al die moeite mijn zaakjes wel zou weten, maar toch was ik meer in de war dan ooit.<\/p>\n<h4>Elk dieetboek sprak het andere tegen. Ik begreep helemaal wat mijn cli\u00ebnten doormaakten. Voeding is eenvoudig, maar het is ingewikkeld omdat zoveel marketeers en \"dieetgoeroes\" je aandacht willen trekken, dus overdrijven ze de waarheid en liegen ze vaak gewoon.<\/h4>\n<p>In deze post deel ik de 5 principes die werken voor ieder mens met een hartslag.  Met \"werken\" bedoel ik dat als je consequent volgens deze principes leeft en ze combineert met consequente krachttraining en cardiovasculaire conditie, je je kracht en uithoudingsvermogen zult verbeteren en er nog beter uit zult zien en je beter zult voelen.<\/p>\n<p>Dus laten we er meteen mee beginnen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3802\" src=\"https:\/\/www.billybeck.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/IMG_8520.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"607\" height=\"584\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Wat betreft \"Regel #3: Eet elke 3 uur een Fire or Fuel-maaltijd om vet vrij te maken voor brandstof\", dit is niet helemaal waar.  Door consequent te eten \"automatiseer\" je het in je hoofd, zodat je geen maaltijden overslaat en niet dubbel eet.  Dit helpt bij gedragsverandering en naleving.  Als je merkt dat je liever om de 4 of 5 of 6 uur eet, dan is dat prima.  Maar als je zo'n honger hebt wanneer je eet dat je slechte keuzes maakt en eet tot je vol zit als een kalkoen op Thanksgiving, dan wil je dat misschien wat aanscherpen en eten voordat je honger hebt zoals Marvin.<\/p>\n<p>De sleutel is om consequent te zijn.  Eet elke dag op ongeveer dezelfde tijden.  Heb een plan en houd je eraan.  De meeste van mijn cli\u00ebnten eten 4 keer per dag, maar sommigen eten meer en sommigen minder.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Voorbeeld van een FUELING-dag (klantnaam om privacyredenen geheim gehouden)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>7 uur 's ochtends Wakker worden. Drink 0,5 L water\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>7:30 uur Trein volgens schema<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>9.00: Eiwitshake en bosbessen of appel.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>12-1 uur: Kipfilet of Zalm of Garnalen met grote groene salade met extra vierge olijfolie en citroen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3-4pm: Herhaal Eiwitshake of lunch.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>19.00 - 20.00 uur: Wildgevangen zalm, zoete aardappelpuree, asperges, kruiden.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Zoals je kunt zien, is dit niet bijzonder. Het is eenvoudig.  Het vereist vooruit plannen.  Als je je dag begint zonder plan, dan ben je van plan om te falen.  Je hoeft niet perfect te zijn, maar je moet wel consequent zijn.  Eet elke dag op ongeveer hetzelfde tijdstip en je zult merken dat je niet alleen tijd bespaart, maar ook veel meer consistente energie hebt gedurende de dag.
