De volgende passage werd bijna 100 jaar geleden geschreven, maar heeft een boodschap die tijdloos is.<\/p>\n

Het credo van de optimist<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ik beloof mezelf...<\/strong><\/h3>\n

  • Om zo sterk te zijn dat niets mijn gemoedsrust kan verstoren.<\/li>\n
  • Om gezondheid, geluk en voorspoed te brengen aan iedereen die ik ontmoet.<\/li>\n
  • Om al mijn vrienden het gevoel te geven dat ze iets waard zijn.<\/li>\n
  • Om alles van de zonnige kant te bekijken en mijn optimisme waar te maken.<\/li>\n
  • Alleen aan het beste denken, alleen voor het beste werken en alleen het beste verwachten.<\/li>\n
  • Om net zo enthousiast te zijn over het succes van anderen als over mijn eigen succes.<\/li>\n
  • Om de fouten uit het verleden te vergeten en door te gaan naar de grotere successen van de toekomst.<\/li>\n
  • Om altijd een vrolijke uitdrukking te dragen en een glimlach te geven aan elk levend wezen dat ik ontmoet.<\/li>\n
  • Zoveel geven om mezelf te verbeteren dat ik geen tijd heb om anderen te bekritiseren.<\/li>\n
  • Te groot zijn voor zorgen, te nobel voor woede, te sterk voor angst en te gelukkig om de aanwezigheid van problemen toe te laten.<\/li>\n
  • Om goed over mezelf te denken en dit feit aan de wereld te verkondigen, niet met luide woorden, maar met grote daden.<\/li>\n
  • Om te leven in het geloof dat de hele wereld aan mijn kant staat, zolang ik trouw blijf aan het beste dat in mij zit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
