Laatst was ik een groep basketbalspelers aan het trainen. Ik had moeite met het vinden van een parkeerplaats, dus uiteindelijk parkeerde ik ongeveer 1\/2 mijl van de sporthal vandaan.<\/p>\n

Ik had twee grote emmers met medicijnballen erin. Ze wogen elk meer dan 50 pond met een dun handvat dat in mijn handen sneed.<\/p>\n

Onderweg stopte ik een paar keer om op mijn iPhone te kijken of ik de route kon vinden, dus het stelde niet veel voor.<\/p>\n

Ik ging naar binnen en deed mijn ding. Ik herinner me duidelijk dat ik riep \"UITDAGING CRE\u00cbERT VERANDERING\"<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Geef het beste van jezelf... alleen jij weet of je het beste van jezelf hebt gegeven! Dat is succes!\"<\/em><\/p>\n

Nadat ik met het team klaar was, begon ik aan mijn 1\/2 mijl lange mars naar mijn zwarte Jeep Rubicon.<\/p>\n

Al snel brandden mijn klemmen, toen vloog mijn middenrug in brand... zo voelde het tenminste... toen dacht ik.<\/p>\n

\"Ik kan een pauze nemen en alle pijn zal verdwijnen.<\/em><\/p>\n

of...<\/em>Ik zou het kunnen uitproberen en zien wat ik heb. Kan ik echt de hele weg terug afleggen zonder te rusten?\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n

Kan ik de pijn verdragen? <\/em><\/p>\n

of zal ik terugdeinzen en bang zijn voor ongemak.<\/em><\/p>\n

Niemand zal het ooit weten. Ik ben de enige hier.\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n

Maar ik ben de belangrijkste persoon die over mij denkt.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ben ik een leeuw of een lam?\"<\/em><\/p>\n

Ik zag een visioen van vroegere coaches met bierbuiken, hele korte shorts (je weet wel de FIETS shorts) en een fluitje. Op het fluitje blazen en vijftien keer achter elkaar \"nog eentje\" roepen terwijl we allemaal naar adem snakten naar wat onze laatste adem leek.<\/p>\n

Dat zou ik nooit toestaan. Ik zal het goede voorbeeld geven... niet om indruk te maken op iemand... maar om te zien waar ik van gemaakt ben en om onvermijdelijk meer te worden. Om mijn potentieel te vervullen.<\/p>\n

Ik had niet gedacht dat ik dit ooit zou delen, maar ik voelde me gedwongen om dit te delen omdat er een les in zit.<\/p>\n
