Lauderdale, Florida, mi tierra natal.  Tuvimos m\u00e1s suerte que nuestros amigos de Mississippi y Luisiana, pero incluso un hurac\u00e1n de nivel 1 puede causar graves da\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Durante la noche, o\u00eda el silbido del viento, el ruido de los \u00e1rboles al romperse y los escombros que golpeaban mis ventanas (\u00a1vivo en el \u00faltimo piso de un condominio!).<\/p>\n<p>Al d\u00eda siguiente, mir\u00e9 por la ventana que daba al campo de golf y... \u00a1Vaya! Parec\u00eda que King Kong hab\u00eda tenido una rabieta y hab\u00eda arrancado todos los \u00e1rboles... docenas de ellos.  M\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n de hogares estaban sin electricidad y casi todo estaba cerrado.  Despu\u00e9s de hablar con la mayor\u00eda de mis clientes y amigos, me sent\u00ed aliviado al saber que todo el mundo estaba a salvo.  Entonces me di cuenta de que el gimnasio estaba cerrado. No hay electricidad, as\u00ed que la comida se echa a perder.  Muy pocos restaurantes, por no decir ninguno, est\u00e1n abiertos.  \u00a1Mis clientes!  \u00bfQu\u00e9 van a comer? \u00bfC\u00f3mo van a hacer ejercicio?<\/p>\n<p>Tras un breve momento de p\u00e1nico, me recompuse y se me ocurri\u00f3 la Dieta HURAC\u00c1N.  La Dieta del Hurac\u00e1n est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ada para esos momentos en los que est\u00e1s atrapado en tu casa y no puedes acceder a la comida.  Ya sea un hurac\u00e1n, una tormenta de nieve, un apag\u00f3n o pura pereza, aqu\u00ed tienes una estrategia alimentaria que te permitir\u00e1 seguir avanzando en una direcci\u00f3n positiva.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Las directrices:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>Los alimentos deben ser no perecederos.<\/li>\n<li>Cada comida debe contener una fuente magra de prote\u00ednas y un hidrato de carbono.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a1Mucha agua!  Dado que los alimentos no perecederos suelen contener grandes cantidades de sodio, es importante beber m\u00e1s de lo habitual.  El aumento de la ingesta de agua ayudar\u00e1 a eliminar la retenci\u00f3n de l\u00edquidos.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>He aqu\u00ed un ejemplo:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><b>El desayuno:<\/b> Panecillo ingl\u00e9s integral con mantequilla de cacahuete natural<\/p>\n<p><b>Media ma\u00f1ana:<\/b> Jerky de ternera y una manzana<\/p>\n<p><b>La comida:<\/b> At\u00fan blanco bajo en sodio. Use 1 paquete de mayonesa light y un paquete de condimento de pepinillos para darle sabor.  P\u00f3ngalo en pan integral y disfr\u00fatelo.<\/p>\n<p><b>Media tarde:<\/b>\u00a0Barrita nutricional que contenga al menos 20 gramos de prote\u00ednas.<\/p>\n<p><b>La cena:<\/b> Chicken of the Sea hace paquetes de gambas que son estupendos. Se pueden encontrar cerca del at\u00fan. Mezcle con aderezo italiano sin grasa. Sirva con trozos de pi\u00f1a enlatada sin az\u00facar a\u00f1adido.<\/p>\n<p><b>Buenas noches:<\/b> Batido de prote\u00ednas bajo en az\u00facar y grasa.<\/p>\n<p>Perm\u00edtanme se\u00f1alar que esto no es 100% \u00f3ptimo; sin embargo, le mantendr\u00e1 en el camino hacia los resultados.  La verdadera clave del \u00e9xito f\u00edsico es hacerlo lo mejor posible la mayor parte del tiempo.<\/p>\n<p>No necesitas ser perfecto.<\/p>\n<p>Esfu\u00e9rzate por alcanzar la perfecci\u00f3n y te volver\u00e1s loco.
